Movement with meaning

At True North Physio, we combine clinical expertise with a warm, people-first approach. Whether you're recovering from injury, managing a condition, or simply want to feel stronger, we’re here to guide you with personalised care that meets you where you are.

What wellness looks like with us

From 1:1 physio to gentle group movement, Laura creates a welcoming environment
for real-life recovery and long-term wellbeing.

Meet our founder, Laura

Ever since qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2002, she continued to gain extensive experience across a range of NHS clinical areas, including Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, follow-up fracture clinics, and specialist shoulder clinics. For over ten years, she has also worked in Emergency Departments as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), assessing, diagnosing, and managing soft tissue injuries and fractures, and referring patients to Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgeons where appropriate.

Holding a Master’s degree in Manual Therapy, Laura is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and has been practising acupuncture for pain relief since 2004. She enjoys the variety that her work brings and takes pride in using her problem-solving skills to help clients manage complex conditions and achieve meaningful recovery.

A fully certified APPI Pilates instructor since 2008, Laura teaches mat-based Pilates using small equipment and has experience teaching Reformer Pilates.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys an active lifestyle including rock climbing, walking, paddleboarding, open-water swimming, and occasionally taking on a quadrathlon. She’s also a proud football mum!

Backed by professional clinical expertise

Laura is an experienced physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC and a member of MACP, with advanced training from leading institutions. Her expertise ensures safe, professional care you can trust.
